This installation work was conceived for a solo exhibition at the Förderverein Aktuelle Kunst, Münster, Germany. The exhibition space is situated in a bourgeois residential area with impressive and well-cared front gardens. At the same time it is a politically troubled part of Germany since the ultimate disposal place for atomic waste is situated nearby. Just some weeks before our opening an extraordinary violent clash between demonstrators and police occurred. Our installation brought together these two elements in a slightly paranoid way: We planted an arial view of the demonstration as a flower bed and raised the question, if individual experience has an influence on how people design their front gardens?
