Kasseler Kunstverein asked us to design a new set of chairs for the Summer exhibition during documenta fifteen. We responded by refurbishing well-used chairs from the art schools we are teaching at, using the wood we had harvested in Berlin in 2016. The Kassel Chair Repair series combines existing design classics with Tree of Heaven elements to create nine hybrid chairs.
