A series of images, following the seasonal workers at Nico Duijvesteijn Kweekerij, Monster, The Netherlands. Part of a photographic research, where I tried to connect the appearance of todays precarious labour to the art historic iconography of profession, in this case Vincent van Gogh studies for his painting “De Aardappeleters” from 1883 – 85. Other photo series from this research are Jax Carwash, 2000 and Die Liftler, 2004.
